Halloween hasn’t quite been what it used to be. Probably due to low temps and heavy snowfall in Chicago. Westfield aka Chicago Ridge Mall, on 95th and Ridgeland, invited local residents to trick or treat indoors starting at 4:pm CST. Families did not hesitate to escape the cold and arrived in droves.
People were flustered and frustrated by long lines, parking vultures and bumper to bumper traffic. One thing that made the experience more tolerable was the amazing costumes. Pictured below is the Corona family.
Stores ran out of candy relatively quickly but families were able to make the best of it by visiting the Food Court and purchasing tickets to view the Adams Family at the malls’ AMC Theatre.
